In Chicago.
Before our co-founder had a kid, he had a problem: he couldn't stop playing golf. Living in Chicago — not exactly the year-round golf capital of the world — he still managed to squeeze in 150 rounds in a single year. Early tee times in April, sneaking out before the first frost in November, driving to courses hours away on weekends. He was, by any reasonable definition, obsessed.
That obsession meant he spent a lot of time at clubs. And over those years, he kept running into the same thing: incredible clubs, serious tournaments, devoted members — and tournament management software that felt like it was built in 2003 and never updated.
When a new chapter of life arrived — a kid, a little less time on the course — the question became obvious: why not build something better?
